GB3BL update

Saturday, 6 June 2020 10:46

We have now received the Ofcom NOV (Notice Of Variation) license so we can now plan to put GB3BL back on the air.

Unfortunately, accessing the site is still difficult in the current conditions, we need to install the colinear antenna which requires co-ordination with the other user of the site.

The new frequency allocation is a 7.6 MHz “wide split”, we did this because of the need to operate with a single antenna, doing this on the 1.6 MHz split is difficult and costly.

The new repeater transmit frequency is 430.8750 MHz (i.e. your receiver listens on this frequency) and the new repeater receive frequency is 438.4750 (i.e. you transmit on this frequency).
